What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Dispatcher position at Real Property Management Evolve?
We are a locally owned and growing property management company seeking an entry-level Maintenance Dispatcher to support our residents and property owners. This is an in-office position responsible for coordinating maintenance requests, dispatching vendors, and ensuring work orders are completed efficiently and accurately.
This role is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and manage incoming maintenance requests from residents
- Dispatch work orders to vendors and track progress through completion
- Handle home warranty claims, including documentation and follow-up
- Communicate regularly with residents and property owners regarding job status
- Maintain accurate and detailed records in company systems
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely and quality service
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (in-office)
- Rotating on-call schedule for after-hours maintenance issues
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Self-motivated with the ability to multitask effectively
- Clear and professional communication skills (phone, email, written)
- Basic knowledge of home maintenance (plumbing, electrical, HVAC) preferred
- Customer-service oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Experience with AppFolio and/or Housecall Pro is a plus
