Fiber and Cable Installation Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fiber and Cable Installation Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, connectorizing, and maintaining fiber optic and coax cables and equipment to ensure reliable network connectivity. Your expertise will help deliver high-quality solutions for residential and commercial customers. Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot fiber optic cables, coax cabling, and internet, phone, and video systems in various settings.
• Perform fiber and coax installs, cnonnectorizing, and signal checks using specialized tools to provide internet, phone, and video services to customers.
• Set up and test internet, phone, and video services throughout the customers property.
• Conduct cable routing, termination, and labeling to ensure organized and accessible installations.
• Use hand tools such as crimpers, wire strippers, and signal meters to complete cabling tasks with precision.
• Diagnose signal issues related to telecommunications systems and repair or replace faulty components.
• Follow safety protocols related to working with cabling systems and telecommunication equipment.

Experience

• Proven experience as a service technician or field installer in telecommunications, fiber, or cabling environments.
• Hands-on knowledge of fiber and coax techniques and cable installation procedures.
• Familiarity with major MSOs such as Spectrum, Comcast, and other large providers.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to work with hand tools and mechanical components effectively.
• Understanding of fiber and coax principles installing services from the pole or pedestal to the home and inside the home.
• Prior experience working in field service roles involving telecommunication infrastructure is highly desirable.

Pay: $750.00 - $1,100.00 per week
