About the Role:
Join our finance team as an Accounting Specialist, focused on Subcontractor and Specialty payroll processing. In this role you will work extensively within our proprietary system, RFMS, to complete accounting tasks accurately. Your duties include maintaining financial accuracy, ensuring subcontractor compliance, and gathering, verifying and reporting data related to certified payroll OCIP/CCIP compliance, subcontractor payroll processing. We're looking for a detail-oriented professional to maintain precise financial records and handle diverse accounting responsibilities.

Your duties include maintaining financial accuracy, ensuring subcontractor compliance, and gathering, verifying and reporting data related to certified payroll OCIP/CCIP compliance, subcontractor payroll processing. We're looking for a detail-oriented professional to maintain precise financial records and handle diverse accounting responsibilities.
What You'll Do:
- Compile and Maintain required compliance documentation for all subcontractors both in internal software and schedules
- Collect, compile, report and audit data for certified payroll, with multiple online programs, as well as hard copy submissions.
- This position plays a crucial role and requires a strong attention to detail including wage scales, prevailing wage, Davis Bacon Act.
- Compile and process weekly subcontractor payroll.
- Reconcile related GL’s monthly.
- Reconcile subcontractor's payroll register.
- Compile and distribute 1099’s for all subcontractors annually
- Fill in and accept overflow assignments to assist other members of the finance team with workflow requirements as needed.Complete tasks as assigned by the Account Manager and Director of Finance.
- Prior experience with Certified payroll
- Experience with LCP Tracker, Elations, Wrapworks preferred
- Proficiency in Excel and the Office365
- Bilingual skills preferred
- Strong attention to detail

- Proactive problem solver – takes initiative to identify, research and resolve problems as they arise; willing to help others when needed to solve issues
