What are the responsibilities and job description for the Events & Experience Coordinator position at Real Estate On Purpose?
Real Estate on Purpose (REOP) exists for real estate agents and their clients to fall in love with real estate again — through thoughtful systems, meaningful relationships, and experiences that actually feel supportive.
As we grow, we’re looking for the right person to own the execution behind those experiences.
This is not a virtual assistant role.
It’s also not a “stay fully behind the screen” position.
This is an operations experience role for someone who takes pride in making things run smoothly — and knows how to step into ownership without being micromanaged.
As our Events & Experience Coordinator, you’ll be the connective tissue between our agents, leadership team, and systems.
You’ll:
- Execute REOP events using established vendors and playbooks
- Coordinate agent onboarding and ongoing support logistics
- Ensure thoughtful client experience touches are delivered on time
- Serve as the primary point of contact for agents, routing requests to the right person internally
- Keep details out of the founder’s head and inside our systems
You’ll work remotely most of the time — with the expectation that you can commute to the DC Metro area approximately 3–6 times per year for select larger or special events.
If your primary goal is a job because it’s “remote,” this will not be the right fit.
- Executing REOP and agent-hosted events (coordination, not production)
- Managing timelines, confirmations, and follow-through in ClickUp
- Coordinating onboarding logistics for new agents
- Being the first point of contact for agent questions and requests
- Routing requests to leadership (vision, marketing, tech) as appropriate
- Closing the loop so nothing falls through the cracks
You will not be asked to:
- Create marketing content
- Sell
- Design systems from scratch
Execution and ownership are the job.
You’ll likely thrive here if you:
- Are calm, organized, and unflappable
- Enjoy being the person who makes things work
- Communicate clearly and proactively
- Can manage multiple streams without overwhelm
- Are comfortable owning execution without constant direction
- Care about hospitality, tone, and follow-through
- Are confident interacting with both agents and leadership
Backgrounds that tend to do well:
- Operations or project coordination
- Events coordination (not event production)
- Hospitality or client experience roles
- Office or community management
- Classification: 1099 Independent Contractor
- Hours: Part-time to start (approx. 20 hours/week)
- Location: Remote, with limited in-person travel
- Travel Requirement: Ability to commute to the DC Metro area 3–6 times per year
- Tools: ClickUp, Google Workspace, email, phone/text
At 90 days:
- Agents know exactly who to go to
- Events run without last-minute stress
- Referrals happen during onboarding
- Leadership is no longer looped into routine logistics
- Details don’t live in the founder’s head
If this sounds like you, please apply with:
- A brief note about what specifically about this role caught your attention
- A short description of a time you owned execution for something complex
We’re intentionally looking for ownership, judgment, and reliability.
One Last ThingThis role matters.
You’ll play a direct part in how our agents feel supported, how our events are experienced, and how sustainable our growth becomes.
If that excites you — we’d love to hear from you.
