Overview
REAL ALLOY is the market leader in third-party aluminum recycling and specification alloy production. Headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, we have 16 plants strategically located across the United States, Mexico, and Canada. We convert aluminum scrap and by-products into reusable aluminum metal for a growing number of applications across various industries. Advanced technologies enable us to process a large variety of scrap and dross and reduce the amount of residual waste from aluminum manufacturing that would otherwise end up as landfill.
Responsibilities
The Real Alloy team in Loudon Tennessee is looking for a new member of their local team. This is a key role for the Loudon team to be able to make continuous improvements in their Operations. This position is
responsible for planning, directing and coordinating all aspects of raw materials from incoming loads through to the melting & pouring process for the rotary and reverb operation. The position is also critical to ensure the proper training of other employees on the Loudon Operations team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or years of experience
- 2-4 years working with aluminum scrap & alloys preferred.
- Proven ability to function with minimal supervision while also leading others toward plant goals
- Ability to plan and organize effective and efficiently
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (teamwork oriented) a must
- Committed to high standards of ethics and integrity
- Desire for advancement within the organization
- Off-hours access via typical communication tools
