Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Bus Driver to join our transportation team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers along designated routes. Your energetic approach and commitment to safety will ensure a positive experience for all riders.
Starting Pay is $32.50 plus additional tips or gratuities.
Duties
- Safely operate various 45ft length motorcoaches, following all traffic laws and safety protocols
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is mechanically sound and ready for operation
- Transport passengers along assigned routes while maintaining punctuality and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with passengers, providing assistance to children, seniors, or individuals with special needs as required
- Manage behavior and ensure passenger safety through effective behavior management techniques
- Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and passenger counts; complete incident reports if necessary
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing passenger questions and ensuring a welcoming environment
- Able to handle luggage up to 60lbs
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driver’s license (CDL) Class B or A with Passenger Endorsement and no Air Brake Restrictions.
- Proven experience in bus driving or commercial driving roles
- Strong communication skills in English
- Mechanical knowledge for basic vehicle inspections and troubleshooting minor issues
- Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, afternoons, evenings, or weekends as needed
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and safety regulations related to bus operation
