- Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are properly stocked and sanitized.
- Support the surgeon during procedures by handling instruments and maintaining a sterile environment.
- Schedule patient appointments and manage follow-up communications.
- Educate patients on pre and post-operative care instructions.
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and insurance verification.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to enhance patient experience and care quality.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a medical spa or surgical setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
