Restoration Technician

Overview
ReadyWork is seeking a dedicated and skilled Restoration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and a strong background in restoration services. This role involves responding to emergency situations, assessing damage, and implementing restoration processes to restore properties affected by water, fire, mold, and other disasters. The Restoration Technician will work closely with clients to ensure their needs are met while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assess damage to properties caused by water, fire, mold, or other disasters.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for restoration tasks.
• Perform water damage restoration, including extraction and drying processes.
• Conduct fire restoration services, including cleaning and deodorizing affected areas.
• Execute mold remediation procedures to ensure safe environments.
• Carry out asbestos abatement when necessary, following all safety protocols.
• Clean carpets and other surfaces as part of the restoration process.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment during all projects.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding the restoration process and timelines.

Skills

• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the restoration industry.
• Experience in fire restoration techniques and practices.
• Knowledge of water damage restoration methods and equipment.
• Familiarity with carpet cleaning processes and equipment.
• Strong understanding of mold remediation practices.
• Ability to perform asbestos abatement safely and effectively (certification preferred).
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for client interactions and teamwork.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Experience:

• Restoration Tech: 1 year (Preferred)
• Restoration cleaning: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)
