- Review patient medication histories to ensure safe and effective treatment
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement patient care plans
- Manage inventory and perform utilization reviews to optimize pharmacy operations
- Stay current with the latest medical terminology and anatomical knowledge
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
- Provide patient education on medication use and side effects
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Pharmacist in the state where the position is located
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
- Ability to assess patient care needs and develop effective treatment plans
- Proficiency in inventory management and utilization review
