Duties
- Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, including counting, labeling, and packaging prescriptions accurately.
- Enter prescription data and resolve insurance rejections
- Assist customers in person and over the phone
- Manage inventory and medication ordering
- Maintain pharmacy cleanliness and organization
- Support pharmacists with daily operations
- Comply with HIPAA and all pharmacy regulations
Requirements
- Active California Pharmacy Technician license in good standing
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous retail pharmacy experience preferred
- Knowledge of pharmacy workflow, insurance billing, and prescription processing
- Familiarity with pharmacy software systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluents in English and Spanish
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks
Pay: $17.00 - $21.50 per hour
