Responsibilities

• Assist bartenders by restocking liquor, mixers, garnishes, and glassware to ensure seamless service during events and daily operations
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including bar cleaning, wiping down surfaces, and disposing of trash to uphold health and safety standards
• Support with bussing tables and clearing empty glasses or dishes from the bar and surrounding areas
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies, equipment, and stock items safely and efficiently
• Ensure compliance with food service bar safety regulations and venue beverage service policies at all times
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, including garnishing drinks or preparing simple snacks for guests
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems like Micros POS to assist with cash handling and order processing under supervision

Skills

• Strong cleaning skills to maintain a spotless bar environment in line with health standards
• Experience in food service or restaurant settings, particularly in bars or catering environments
• Knowledge of venue beverage service procedures and bar safety protocols
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual handling tasks efficiently
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and guests
• Basic math skills for cash handling, POS transactions, and inventory management
• Previous bartending or food industry experience is a plus, along with banquet or catering background
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is advantageous
• Customer service orientation to ensure guest satisfaction in a lively setting
