Duties
- Safely operate commercial vehicles, including concrete mixer trucks, dump trucks, and other heavy equipment to transport concrete and related materials to construction sites.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure safety and compliance with all regulations.
- Load and unload materials using mechanical knowledge of loaders, excavators, and other construction machinery.
- Assist with concrete pouring, finishing, and pumping tasks on-site to support construction crews.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, delivery schedules, and documentation for all shipments.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, site supervisors, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including proper rebar installation procedures and construction site safety standards.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or B license with a clean driving record.
- Knowledge of construction site operations, including concrete forming and finishing techniques.
- Mechanical aptitude for maintaining and troubleshooting commercial vehicles and equipment.
- Prior experience as a Ready Mix Driver and working on construction sites is a plus.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations related to commercial driving and construction environments.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy materials, climbing onto trucks or machinery, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
