Duties

• Develop and deliver interactive cybersecurity courses tailored to diverse learner needs, including foundational concepts and advanced topics
• Create engaging lesson plans, practical exercises, and assessments that reinforce key security principles
• Stay current with emerging cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices to ensure training relevance and accuracy
• Facilitate classroom discussions, hands-on labs, and real-world simulations to enhance experiential learning
• Evaluate student progress through assessments, provide constructive feedback, and support individual learning goals
• Collaborate with academic teams or industry partners to refine curriculum content and incorporate cutting-edge tools
• Maintain detailed records of training sessions, attendance, and learner achievements

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cybersecurity roles or related fields with a strong understanding of security protocols and technologies
• Prior experience in teaching or training environments is highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and engagingly
• Demonstrated ability to develop curriculum materials and practical exercises that foster active learning
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks, tools, and certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH) is a plus
• University experience or background in higher education settings is preferred
• Passion for mentoring others and sharing knowledge in a lively, motivating manner
