The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for implementing human resources strategies in support of the overall strategic direction of the company. The HR Generalist will also ensure the employee culture is in alignment with Ready Foods’ mission and vision.
Responsibilities include
- Manage hands-on, full cycle recruiting, new hire orientation and onboarding for production roles.
- Administer benefits programs (Group insurance plans, 401k, FMLA, COBRA, workers’ compensation and education)
- Administer payroll for assigned plants and employees.
- First point of contact for plant employees on all HR matters.
- Collaborate with and provide advice, guidance and support to supervisors and managers in all HR related matters.
- Manage the performance management program for production and administrative employees.
- Prepare and analyze HR reports for management.
- Collaborate and back up other HR team members.
Job Requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organization Development or equivalent preferred
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred
- Three plus years of progressive HR experience
- Excellent verbal and communication skills
- Problem solving and critical thinking capacity
- Able to maintain high level of privacy and confidentiality
- Data analytics skills
- Bilingual in Spanish
