Key Responsibilities
- Lead and maintain Ready Foods’ Safety and Health Programs to ensure full OSHA compliance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen our safety culture.
- Oversee OSHA regulatory and site-specific safety training requirements.
- Develop, implement, and update safety policies, procedures, and programs.
- Identify workplace hazards and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Monitor, track, and report safety metrics and trends.
- Facilitate monthly Safety Committee meetings and develop committee members.
- Deliver engaging safety training and provide guidance on policies and procedures.
- Partner with Plant Manager to evaluate work practices and ensure safe, compliant conditions.
- Collaborate with leadership to embed safety into daily operations.
- Assist in creating annual safety training materials and incident-related corrective training.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in occupational health and safety or a related field.
- At least 2–3 years in a leadership or supervisory role managing safety programs.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and regulations.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to design and implement effective safety programs.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Preferred Certifications:
- OSHA 30-Hour Certification
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
- Associate Safety Professional (ASP)
- First Aid/CPR Certification
