Ready 4 Work is currently seeking an experienced and empathetic (PT) Certified Nursing Assistant to provide services for adults with severe and persistent mental illness, in a group home residential treatment center setting. This position is in a community, facility, and residential center-based setting consisting of various types of physical/emotional environments and conditions of sanitation.
In the Certified Nursing Assistant role, your goal is to increase the persons’ capacity for independent community living, through the establishment of support, rapport, role-modeling, teaching, and the provision of activities and learning experiences. The CNA is also assigned tasks and functions to cover vacancies or absences as required. The CNA exercises discretion and sound judgment in the performance of the duties of the position. Any variety of circumstances may be encountered in the support or assistance of persons served.
Minimum Qualifications;
Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant; and one (1) year direct care, ‘at-risk’, or comparable experience is preferred. A desire and commitment to support high risk, emotionally, mentally or physically challenged persons in their goal of becoming contributing members of the community is a must.
