Lead and inspire a team to deliver high-quality products while driving operational excellence. You’ll oversee daily production activities, foster a culture of safety and accountability, and champion continuous improvement to achieve key performance goals in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
What a Like: Day in Your Life Looks Like:
- Safety Leadership: Promote a safety-first culture and proactively address workplace hazards.
- Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop production team members to drive performance and accountability.
- Production Management: Coordinate daily operations, assign work, and optimize staffing to maximize efficiency.
- Training & Development: Provide hands-on training and guidance to strengthen team skills and performance.
- Quality & Delivery: Maintain quality standards and production schedules to meet customer expectations.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
- Performance Management: Monitor KPIs, maintain production boards, track attendance, and complete required reporting and evaluations.
- Team Building: Support the interviewing and selection of hourly production team members.
- Operational Support: Perform additional duties to support team and business goals.
- Education: High school diploma or GED
- Experience: Minimum of (3) years prior experience leading an hourly skilled trade workforce
- Skills and Abilities:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel, Word and Outlook
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
