What are the responsibilities and job description for the MOLD BUILDER 1-A position at Reading Rock Inc?
Safely create molds for custom RockCast units while assuring that mold specifications, special instructions, and schedule all satisfy customer requirements.
Responsibilities
- Ability to understand and read shop drawings
- Ability to use basic hand tools while setting up and using table saws and other various shop tools
- Working with production with assisting in mold set-up
- May need to perform finishing operations on molds to include painting
- Ability to lift up-to 75lbs with assistance
- All other duties as assigned
- Ability to work across all levels of the organization
- Ability to utilize mathematical skills.
Education | High School/GED preferred, not required |
Experience | Wood shop or carpentry experience |
Language | Basic ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, using the English or Spanish language. |
Technology | Knowledge of how to use hand tools, saw, and other carpentry tools |
Physical Demands | The employee is to regularly Stand; Walk; Climb or balance; Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; Use hands to finger, handle, or feel; Reach with hands and arms; Talk or hear
Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis with assistance (physically demanding position)
