We’re hiring Trim Carpenter to support our paver/block manufacturing operations
Job Purpose
Safely create molds for custom Rock-Cast units while assuring that mold specifications, special instructions, and schedule all satisfy customer requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Ability to understand and read shop drawings
- Build basic box style molds for hand tamp, lightweight, and precast, building simple rectangle and square shape molds with no profiles added to the piece.
- Paint molds (brushing on sealer and for coat, ability to wear a respiratory)
- Ability to use basic hand tools while setting up and using table saws and other various shop tools
- Working with production with assisting in mold set-up
- May need to perform finishing operations on molds to include painting
- Ability to lift up-to 75lbs with assistance
- All other duties as assigned
- Ability to work across all levels of the organization
- Ability to utilize mathematical skills.
- Follow any other instructions, and perform any other related duties, as assigned by supervisor
Education, Knowledge, and Skills:
- High School/GED preferred.
- Good communication skills written and verbal
- Basic ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing in English.
- Wood shop or carpentry experience
- knowledge of how to use tools, saw, and other carpentry tools
- Knowledge of how to use hand tools, multi-meters.
