Job Summary
"NEW INCREASED RATES"
Reporting to the Security Supervisor, and collaborating with other Security Staff, the Security Officer supports the health system's efforts to create and maintain a safe and secure environment for patients, employees, students, and visitors. The officer assists all individuals in understanding and conveniently utilizing Hospital facilities. The officer provides a first response to emergency situations, and coordinates with external emergency management, law enforcement and fire agencies.
Full Time Position Evening Shift, hours are 2:45pm-11:15pm, every other weekend and a holiday rotation required.

Qualifications
Education Requirements
- High School Diploma - OR - GED - OR - Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education
- Relevant Experience
- BLS Certification
- Current Valid Driver's License
- IAHSS Basic Level Certification (CHSO) - Must be obtained within 6 months of hire/placement
