The 62 bed Acute Rehabilitation Unit provides acute inpatient medical rehabilitation services to patients with functional impairments as a result of various diagnoses including, stroke, spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, multiple traumas, orthopedic conditions, amputations, and other disabling conditions. Tower Health, a regional healthcare system, serves communities across multiple counties in Pennsylvania. - Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care.
- Deliver excellent nursing care through evaluations, planning, implementation, and documentation while serving a diverse patient population with complex concerns.
- Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
- Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.

Qualifications
Education Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing ? OR - Certification in specialty by recognized accrediting agency ? OR ? enrolled in RN to BSN or RN to MSN program with minimum 6 credits completed within previous 12 months
- Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings as required for role.
- Relevant Experience
