Available MR Technologist Positions:
- Day Shift; 8 Hr Shifts; Every 3rd weekend rotating shifts; Weekday, Weekend and Holiday Call; and Holiday Rotation
- Day Shift; 12 Hr Shifts (Thurs, Fri, Sat) 6:45AM-7:15PM; Holiday Rotation & Holiday Call
- Day Shift (Four 10s); Every 3rd weekend rotating shifts
- Demonstrates an understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, contrast agents, MR safety and medical terminology.
- Maintains a high degree of accuracy in positioning and technique.
- Performs MRI procedures according to established protocols to obtain diagnostic information as ordered by the physician.
- Prepares and administers contrast at the direction of the radiologist in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
- Ensures the delivery of quality care in a safe environment for infant through adult patients.
- Remains sensitive to the physical, cultural and emotional needs of the patient through good communication, patient assessment, patient monitoring, and patient care skills in a non-judgmental and non-discriminatory manner.
- Engages in continuing education to enhance patient care, public education, knowledge and technical competence while embracing lifelong learning.
- Uses independent, professional and ethical judgment, along with critical thinking in performance of duties.
