The Principal will lead the school in achieving goals grounded in the District’s Portrait of a Graduate, specifically seeking to:

- Expand place-based, outdoor, and environmental education opportunities.
- Continue providing exceptional programs in the Arts.
Role Expectations & Ideal Candidate
We seek a team-oriented leader with the desire and talent to handle a breadth of daily responsibilities while demonstrating core educational expertise.
1. Core Responsibilities (0.5 FTE Principal)
The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader who manages diverse tasks, including:
- Facility management
- Communication with all stakeholders
- Scheduling and logistics
- Basic first aid
- Multigrade instruction support
2. Special Education (0.5 FTE)
- Willingness and ability to actively support daily special education instruction and serve as a case manager for students.
3. Required Expertise & Leadership
The Principal must possess:
- A deep understanding of early elementary level teaching and learning.
- Expertise in effective instruction and assessment practices.
- Demonstrated leadership in the areas of:
- Listening
- Teaming and collaboration
- Developing a strong professional learning community
