Job Summary:
The Superintendent oversees and manages construction projects on-site, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership, coordination, and communication with subcontractors, project managers, and client
Job Responsibilities:
- Guide and lead team to inspect, repair, and service overhead cranes in a timely and cost-effective manner to maximize customer satisfaction and company profitability
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, laborers, and tradespeople.
- Monitor project schedules, track progress, and communicate updates to project management.
- Ensure all safety regulations and company policies are strictly followed.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Review plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure work aligns with project requirements.
- Ensure that company vehicles, equipment, and tools are properly maintained as directed by Service Manager
- Collaborate with project managers to manage budgets, resources, and materials.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including daily logs, reports, and project records.
- Serve as the primary point of contact on-site for clients, inspectors, and vendors.
- Troubleshoot customer crane problems and then develop and implement solutions
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of overhead crane maintenance and installation experience.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Thorough knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Proficiency with project management and scheduling software preferred.
- High school diploma required, bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field preferred.
