This is a lead teacher position in our 3 year old class. Hours are 8:30-12:30
This position is for Fall 2026 (Paid training spring 2025)
Responsibilities
- Reports to Director.
- Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times.
- Ensure a safe environment including inspection of materials and environment.
- Work as a team teacher planning curriculum that is developmentally appropriate and helps children develop physically, cognitively, emotionally and socially.
- Ensure regular observation of children throughout the day.
- Decorate the room including bulletin boards
- Maintain daily child attendance log.
- Attend monthly staff meetings.
- Meet with parents in January to discuss children’s growth and development using approved progress report forms.
- Attend 12 hours of in-service training per school year as agreed upon with Director.
- Be familiar with state regulations as well as with Program Policies of The Day School.
Qualifications:
At least a 2 year degree in Early Childhood Education.
EEC lead Teacher certification
Experience working in a Preschool classroom.
Must complete CPR and First Aid classes within 3 months
Salary : $20 - $24
