About the Role

Reading Thermal Systems is seeking a Micro Assembly Technician to assemble, wire, and calibrate SCORPION® Data Logging Measurement Systems used in commercial ovens, dryers, and cooling tunnels worldwide. This hands-on role requires precision, patience, and strong attention to detail while working with small components under magnification.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire precision sensors, including Temperature, Air Velocity, Heat Flux, and Humidity

• Perform micro wiring and soldering using specialized tools

• Calibrate and inspect assemblies to meet specifications

• Read and follow technical drawings and work instructions

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

• Excellent attention to detail and steady hands

• Experience with soldering, electronics, model building, or other fine-detail work preferred

• Ability to follow technical drawings and assembly instructions

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Willingness to learn new tools and techniques
