Handyman / Property Maintenance Laborer
Job Summary
We are looking for a dependable handyman/laborer to assist with property maintenance and preservation work. Tasks include debris removal, minor repairs, installations, and general maintenance on residential properties. This is hands-on work and requires someone who is reliable, works efficiently, and takes pride in doing the job right.
Duties
- Debris removal and property clean-outs
- Basic repairs (doors, sinks, toilets, drywall, etc.)
- Light demolition and general labor
- Installing fixtures and minor maintenance work
- Loading/unloading materials and tools
- Keeping work areas clean and safe
Seasonal Work
During the spring and summer months, work may also include asphalt sealcoating, lawn mowing, and exterior property maintenance. Applicants should be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation is required
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors
- Must be reliable and show up when scheduled
Experience with handyman work, construction, or maintenance is a plus but not required for the right person willing to learn.
Pay
$16–$20 per hour depending on experience and reliability
Schedule
Work is scheduled as jobs come in. Most work is during weekday daytime hours.
