Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for a Photography Assistant located in Cedar Rapids, IA. The Photography Assistant will support photographers during photoshoots, assist with lighting setup, and function as a second photographer on larger jobs (with the potential to become a solo photographer in the future). Additional day-to-day responsibilities include managing equipment, processing photos, and providing a positive experience for clients in both studio and on-location settings.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong Communication skills to engage with clients and work effectively in a team
- Dependability, organization, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Ability to adapt to varied work environments and schedules
- Prior experience or education in photography or a related field is a plus
