Angel View is seeking a compassionate, business-minded, and highly capable Chief Executive Officer / Executive Director to lead one of the Coachella Valley’s most respected nonprofit human services organizations.
Founded in 1954, Angel View has a powerful legacy of serving children and adults with disabilities and helping them reach their maximum potential. Today, Angel View is a complex, mission-driven nonprofit enterprise with approximately $60 million in annual operating scope, 15 residential homes, an Adult Day Program, an Outreach Program serving approximately 700 children, 15 resale stores, a clearance center, warehouse operations, and approximately 375 employees.
This is more than an executive leadership role. It is an opportunity to protect a legacy, strengthen a mission-critical organization, support families, honor staff, engage donors, and shape the next chapter of an organization that matters deeply to the Coachella Valley.
The next CEO / Executive Director will report to the Board of Directors and provide strategic, operational, financial, cultural, and community leadership across Angel View’s full platform. The successful leader will bring the heart of a nonprofit servant leader, the discipline of an experienced business operator, and the humility to learn a complex organization before making major changes.
Angel View is seeking a leader who can:
Lead a complex, multi-site organization with operational discipline
Strengthen financial sustainability, fundraising, and revenue diversification
Partner effectively with the Board of Directors
Support residential care, day programming, outreach, retail, transportation, facilities, and administration
Build trust with staff, families, donors, public agencies, and community partners
Lead with compassion, transparency, humility, and accountability
Balance mission impact with business rigor and long-term sustainability
The ideal candidate may come from nonprofit leadership, healthcare, human services, disability services, residential care, social enterprise, retail, or another complex mission-driven organization. Candidates with large-scale operating experience, financial acumen, multi-site leadership, Board experience, and a deep respect for individuals with disabilities will be especially compelling.
Angel View is not seeking a purely theoretical nonprofit leader. This role requires a visible, hands-on executive who can understand the numbers, support people, manage complexity, hold teams accountable, and protect the mission.
