We are looking for an enthused and passionate professional committed to improving the lives of individuals with autism and intellectual disabilities. The ideal candidate will be independently motivated to provide excellent service while effectively communicating with your team and supervisor. They will liaise with Direct Support Professionals, Caregivers, and Supports Coordination Unit to support individual client's goals.
Summary:
The Board Certified behavior Analyst (BCBA) serves as the leading clinician and supervisor on the case of a member diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). This position is responsible for oversight of other clinicians, technicians, and support staff, and for tracking and modifying a member's goals and progress. This position must have a certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of programming for a small caseload
- Complete new member intakes
- Conduct initial and on-going assessments based on individual needs of member
- Design, implement, and monitor all components of a member's individualized treatment plan
- Conduct functional assessments of problem behavior and develop behavior intervention plans
- Supervise and train clinical staff to implement member's treatment plan with integrity
- Perform fidelity checks and provide feedback on interventions to other clinicians and technicians
- Provide training and instruction to parents/caregivers on behavioral strategies and implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) teaching methods in the home and community settings
Qualifications:
- Be licensed in PA as a psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, clinical social worker, social worker, behavior specialist, certified registered nurse practitioner or a professional with a scope of practice that includes overseeing the provision of ABA services
- Have a certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or other graduate-level certification in behavior analysis that is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies on the American National Standards Institute
Attributes:
- Familiarity with a variety of assessment types including the ABLLS-R and VB-MAPP
- Experience creating an individualized treatment plan, analyzing problem behaviors, and developing interventions to reduce these types of behaviors
- Excellent oral, listening, communication, and self-awareness skills
- Analytical minded and solutions-driven thinking
- Self-motivated with the willingness and accountability to exceed member expectations
- Excellent organization, planning, prioritization, and time-management skills
- Passion and drive for working with children, youth, and young adults and their families
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Must be technologically proficient, especially with Microsoft Office

- Child Abuse (no more than five years/60 months from the date of hire)
- FBI Fingerprint Check (no more than five years/60 months from the date of hire)
- PATCH (no more than five years/60 months from the date of hire)
- Mandated Reporter Training (no more than one year/365 days from of hire)
- First Aid/CPR certification (must be maintained during employment period)
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing and frequent bending
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
