As a Preschool Teacher in the Head Start program, you will play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment where every child can grow, explore, and thrive. You will collaborate with families, colleagues, and community partners to support the whole child and build strong educational foundations that last a lifetime.

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum that aligns with Head Start standards
• Foster a classroom culture rooted in respect, diversity, and belonging
• Implement and model behavioral guidance management strategies to help children foster self-control, increase conflict-resolution skills, and enhance social-emotional development.
• Observe, assess, and document children's development and learning
• Build trusting relationships with families through consistent communication and family engagement
• Work collaboratively with team members and community agencies to support child and family well-being

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (or related field with ECE coursework)
• Experience working with preschool-aged children in diverse, low-income communities
• Commitment to equity, inclusion, and continuous professional growth
