Responsibilities

- Provide constructive feedback to swimmers to enhance their skills and performance.
- Organize swim meets, ensuring all logistical aspects are handled smoothly.
- Foster a supportive atmosphere that encourages teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth.
- Monitor swimmer progress through regular assessments and adjust training plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate swimmer development and address any concerns.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all training sessions, including lifeguard responsibilities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching physical education with a focus on swimming.
- Lifeguard experience is essential for maintaining safety during practices.
- Strong background in martial arts or other sports such as karate, judo, basketball, cheerleading, or climbing is a plus.
- Excellent behavior management skills to effectively engage with students of varying ages and abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and fellow coaches in a dynamic environment.
- Passion for teaching swimming techniques and promoting healthy lifestyles among youth.
