Position Overview
Reach Higher ABA is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide school-based speech and language services in Rochester, NH. The SLP will work with students to improve communication, language development, and social interaction while collaborating with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), teachers, families, and other professionals to support student progress.
The ideal candidate is passionate about working with children, skilled in developing individualized treatment plans, and comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate students' speech, language, and communication needs.
- Develop and implement individualized speech and language treatment plans.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy in a school setting.
- Address expressive and receptive language, articulation, and social communication skills.
- Support students who use augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems when appropriate.
- Collaborate with BCBAs, RBTs, teachers, school personnel, and families to promote student progress.
- Monitor student outcomes and adjust treatment strategies based on progress and individual needs.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, treatment records, and progress reports.
- Provide recommendations and strategies to help school staff reinforce communication skills throughout the school day.
