Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT support or a similar technical role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, common business software, and basic networking concepts.
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues effectively and efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with non-technical users and provide clear instructions.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A , Network , or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP).
- Experience supporting IT systems in a durable goods manufacturing setting.
- Familiarity with industrial control systems and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and experience implementing security measures.
- Experience with remote support tools and IT asset management software.
- Provide first-line technical support to employees by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software applications used across the manufacturing facility.
- Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, workstations, and network devices, to ensure optimal performance and security.
