The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining both residential and commercial landscapes, ensuring tools are properly cared for, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Responsibilities
- Assist with the maintenance of landscapes, both residential and commercial
- Ensure tools are properly cared for and stored at the end of the day
- Work outdoors, with frequent exposure to extreme hot or cold temperatures for several hours
- Arrive to work on time and ready to start
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while on the job
Qualifications
- Knowledge of basic tools, equipment, proper techniques, skills, materials, and methods of landscape maintenance
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to safely operate tools such as shovels, rakes, rollers, blowers, and other related grounds/landscape equipment
- Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as digging, standing, walking, climbing off and on equipment, squatting/kneeling, reaching, grasping, pushing/pulling, twisting/bending, lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs
- Experience with Hardscape/Landscape installation preferred
