Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Technician to join our team, working in a brand-new state of the art (and fully air-conditioned) facility - maintaining, repairing, and even upgrading Volvo cars.
This position is ideal for individuals who have a passion for automotive service and are interested in the Volvo brand. In this role you will work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while contributing to the overall success of our operations. Ideal candidate will have experience independently diagnosing electrical, engine, transmission, and drivability issues on cars of various age.
We aren't open on weekends, so you can actually have a work-life balance! Owners are directly involved in day to day operations and actively seek feedback from the team to improve work environment, customer satisfaction, and employee happiness! Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues using advanced diagnostic tools
- Identify and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use.
- Collaborate with other technicians to maintain best practices in automotive repair and service techniques.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including parts used and labor time.

Qualifications
- Experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles (Volvo experience a plus).
- Advanced knowledge of automotive service principles and practices is required; willingness to learn is essential.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in automotive repair.
- Mechanical knowledge or experience with routine vehicle maintenance intervals is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed during repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Technician must have their own tools.
- A valid driver's license is required; must be able to operate vehicles safely within the shop environment.
