[Kansas City Area / Regional Projects]
Preserve the past. Build the future. Lead projects that matter.
We’re looking for a driven Project Manager (2–5 years experience) who’s ready to take ownership of unique, high-impact construction projects focused on historic window restoration, custom fabrication, and installation. If you enjoy solving complex problems, collaborating with skilled professionals, and seeing tangible results in the built environment, this role offers a rare opportunity to work in a specialized and meaningful niche.
As the central hub of each project, you’ll manage everything from pre-construction through final delivery:
- Lead full project lifecycle: budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and execution
- Collaborate with general contractors, architects, and preservation specialists
- Interpret drawings, specs, and historic standards with precision
- Build and maintain detailed project schedules
- Source and manage vendors, specialty fabricators, and subcontractors
- Prepare take-offs, estimates, and change orders
- Track financials including job costing, invoicing, and forecasting
- Oversee installation and ensure top-tier quality and historic accuracy
- Conduct site visits and lead progress meetings
- Proactively identify risks and keep projects on track
- Maintain strong communication with clients and internal teams
- 2–5 years of Project Management experience in construction
- Experience working with GCs, architects, vendors, and subcontractors
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, drawings, and specs
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple moving parts in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in tools like Procore, Microsoft Project, Buildertrend, or similar
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Experience in historic restoration, millwork, or window/glazing systems
- Familiarity with historic preservation standards
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification
- Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field
- $70,000 – $80,000 annually (based on experience and qualifications)
- Health, dental, and vision insurance
- 401(k) with company match
- Paid time off holidays
- Career growth in a specialized, high-demand field
This is more than just project management—you’ll help restore and preserve historic buildings, contributing to projects that leave a lasting impact on communities. Every project tells a story, and you’ll be a key part of bringing it back to life.
Apply today if you’re ready to take your construction career beyond the ordinary and into something truly meaningful.
