Store Manager

Role Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Redistribution Center Manager to join our team on Oahu. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive our organization's redistribution goals while serving the community by providing a learning space and affordable resources.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all operational activities of the Redistribution Center, including sales, receiving, and material processing departments
• Manage and supervise a team of 10-15 individuals, providing ongoing training, coaching, and discipline when necessary
• Ensure exceptional customer service is maintained by all team members and resolve any customer complaints or inquiries
• Foster positive communication and teamwork among departments and staff
• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture throughout the center
• Analyze program revenues and expenses to make informed decisions aligned with organizational goals and budgets
• Interview, hire, and train employees
• Plan, assign, and direct work for subordinate supervisors and their teams
• Appraise performance, reward and discipline employees, and address complaints and problems
• Manage inventory, receiving, sales, and lumber yard operations

Requirements:

• Proven experience in retail management or similar leadership role
• Strong organizational and time management skills with excellent recordkeeping abilities
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage people and delegate tasks effectively
• Experience leading small teams from diverse backgrounds
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and seek guidance when needed
• Proficiency in English
• Competence with computers and Google Workspace applications
• Passion for and understanding of our organization's mission
• Ability to work on-site at our Oahu location

This full-time, exempt position offers a competitive annual salary of $48,000 with additional benefits, including a performance bonus, medical/prescription drug insurance, elective dental and vision insurance, paid vacation and sick time, store credit, and a 20% employee discount. The role requires approximately 40 hours per week.
