Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance and Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations, reporting, and compliance. This role is responsible for managing accounting processes, financial planning, and ensuring the company's financial health. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, accounting principles, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger. (Enter Payroll, rent, Tax Journal entries into SAGE and send out AR ager reports weekly to operation team).
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to support decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and internal financial policies.
- Manager month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Lead financial audits and liaise with external auditors and tax consultants.
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Monitor cash flow, banking activities, and financial risks.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Support strategic financial planning, cost management, and profitability analysis.
- Mentor and supervise finance and accounting team members nationwide.
- Ensure all financial and accounting activities are in compliance with related laws and regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred)
- 7-10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting
- Bilingual language (English and Mandarin)
Skills
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements
- Experience with financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g. Sage, SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle)
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
