What are the responsibilities and job description for the Turo Fleet Operations Assistant position at RE Property Management?
We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented independent contractor to assist with the daily operation of a growing Turo fleet in the Boise area.
This position will begin primarily with vehicle preparation, deliveries, and pickups. A reliable contractor who demonstrates strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills will have the opportunity to advance into an administrative co-host or fleet-management role.
Responsibilities
- Deliver and retrieve vehicles throughout Boise and surrounding areas, including Boise Airport
- Clean and prepare vehicles between reservations
- Take detailed check-in and checkout photos using the Turo app
- Document mileage, fuel level, cleanliness, and vehicle condition
- Place keys, parking tickets, and pickup information in the proper location
- Inspect returned vehicles and report damage or maintenance concerns immediately
- Fuel and reposition vehicles as needed
- Upload receipts and complete trip checklists
- Communicate professionally with guests when necessary
- Coordinate with other co-hosts to keep trips running on schedule
Schedule
This is flexible, reservation-based contract work. Assignments may occur during mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on booked trips.
Contractors may accept available assignments based on their availability. Once an assignment or coverage day is accepted, timely and dependable completion is required. Occasional short-notice assignments may be offered.
Compensation
- Guaranteed daily pay for accepted coverage days

Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Reliable personal transportation
- Comfortable driving cars, SUVs, and pickup trucks
- Smartphone with dependable service
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and responsive
- Able to work independently and solve problems
- Professional communication and customer-service skills
- Able to perform light vehicle cleaning and work outdoors
- Able to travel throughout Boise, Meridian, Star, and surrounding areas
- Eligible to become a verified Turo co-host
Experience with Turo, rental vehicles, detailing, airport operations, hospitality, delivery services, or fleet management is helpful but not required. Training will be provided.
