The team of pharmacists, technicians, and care experts at River’s Edge Pharmacy serve as patient advocates by combining professional expertise with caring support. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare compounded sterile products using proper aseptic technique.
- Assist with the setup, cleaning, and maintenance of compounding rooms, equipment, and supplies.
- Perform general cleanroom duties, including product introduction and environmental upkeep.
- Maintain accurate records, logs, and reports for pharmaceutical quality assurance testing.
- Perform pharmacy calculations and verify measurements according to established procedures.
- Apply proper gowning procedures and adhere to aseptic guidelines in compliance with USP 797 and USP 800.
- Follow all pharmacy policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Provide customer service support, applying basic phone etiquette skills when interacting with patients or external partners.
Plus – may perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Education
- Required: High school diploma or equivalent
- Preferred: Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician training program
- Licenses/Certifications
- Required: Active California Board of Pharmacy Technician License in good standing
- Preferred: National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB)
- Experience
- Prior experience compounding sterile medications in a cleanroom environment
- Technician registration in practicing state
- Familiarity with sterile compounding regulations and specialty pharmacy practices

- Knowledge of USP 797 and USP 800 regulations and compliance requirements
- Strong knowledge of sterile compounding procedures, IV products, and calculations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and pharmacy-related software

- Travel: Not required

PAY RANGE:
$21 - $28 an hour DOE
$1,000.00 sign on bonus
Salary to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
