Responsibilities
- Perform manual handling tasks such as lifting, moving supplies, and installing equipment to support daily farm operations.
- Operate agricultural machinery including tractors, forklifts, semis and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist with animal husbandry duties, including feeding, watering, and health monitoring of livestock.
- Maintain and repair farm equipment and machinery with assistance
- Follow strict safety standards in all aspects of production, ensuring compliance with health regulations and safety protocols.
Skills
- Proven experience in farming or agricultural settings with knowledge of crop production and animal care.
- Skilled in operating farm machinery such as tractors, forklifts, semi trucks and other heavy equipment; CDL will be needed
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical stamina for outdoor work environments.
- Experience with livestock handling is preferred
- Strong understanding of safety standards in agricultural production to ensure a secure working environment.
