Machine Operator - 3rd Shift

Overview: The 3rd Shift Machine Operator takes responsibility for the production outcomes of their machine during third shift. They will find ways to achieve stated performance objectives of their machine while operating in a way that aligns with Re-Gen's mission and vision.
Responsibilities:
-Operate assigned machine during third shift (10 pm - 6 am), Sunday - Thursday.
-Follow production set-up sheet instructions for various materials being processed
-Adjust processes to maximize machine output without compromising quality
-Trouble-shoot equipment when issues arise
-Communicate all processing adjustments and troubleshooting attempts and solutions
-Connect with preceding operator to understand how current materials are running
-Discuss processing information with operator following 3rd shift
-Bring correct materials to machine as needed
-Put completed materials into correct location
-Suggest improvements to gain efficiency and machine consistency
-Some Saturdays may be required
-Ensure all machine processes are consistently followed and quality standards are met
-Follow all documentation procedures for material flow
-Work with supervisor as needed when challenges arise
-Performs other duties and tasks as requested
Qualifications:
- -Commitment to Re-Gen's corporate vision and mission, and recycling in general
-Willingness to be flexible and adaptable, and to get done what needs done
-Relational and people oriented
-Experience with plastic processing equipment is highly preferred
-Problem-solving skills
-Ease in verbal communication
-Basic fork lift driving skills required'
