Intervention Specialist Moderate to Intensive

Re-Education Services is a private school based program providing special education services to students, kg through age twenty-two, with autism and emotional, social, behavioral disorders from districts in Northeastern Ohio. Re-Education Services offers a multidisciplinary approach using research based techniques, interventions, and models to support student learning in a team centered atmosphere. Multidisciplinary team consists of licensed intervention specialists, associate teachers, speech language pathologist, occupational therapist, and counselors.

Qualifications

Licensed intervention specialist must possess a combination of education, training and/or experience in working with students with emotional and behavioral challenges. Applicant must possess a current Ohio Department of Education Intervention Specialist License (mild to moderate or moderate to intensive).

Summary

As an Intervention Specialist, you will be instrumental in supporting students with diverse learning needs, ensuring they receive the tailored educational experience they deserve. Reporting to the Associate Director or ACCESS Director, your core responsibilities will include classroom management, lesson planning, and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Your expertise in special education and experience working with students will be vital in fostering an inclusive learning environment. Additionally, your premium skills in special education and curriculum development will enhance the educational strategies employed, ultimately contributing to the academic and social growth of students with disabilities.
