Avon, OH Other
POSTED ON 10/11/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 11/9/2026
Step into a 2nd-Shift Impact Role Building Flight-Ready Parts

At our Re:Build Cutting Dynamics (CDI) facility in Avon, OH, you’ll turn raw stock into precision aerospace components. On 2nd shift (5-day workweek, 8-hour shifts, 2:15–10:45 PM) with overtime available, you’ll set up and run CNC mills, verify quality, and keep production moving safely and efficiently.

A Day in This Role

You arrive for handoff, review the Process Routing Document (PRD), and pull tooling for the next run. You set up, load, and run parts on vertical and horizontal CNC mills, dialing in offsets and proving out programs. Between cycles, you measure features with calipers, micrometers, and height gauges, recording results legibly per PRD. You deburr parts, keep your area clean, and perform daily equipment care. Throughout the shift, you collaborate with your supervisor, operators, and quality to resolve any machining or quality issues. You protect company, customer, and supplier property (electronic, intellectual, and physical) and manage assigned records as the owner.

What You Bring
  • 1–3 years of hands-on experience in vertical and horizontal CNC milling
  • Comfort reading blueprints and interpreting GD&T to execute drilling, turning, and tapping operations
  • Proficiency using calipers, micrometers, and height gauges; confident inspection skills and sound basic math
  • Mechanical and technical aptitude; Bridgeport experience preferred
  • High school diploma or GED; fluency in written and spoken English
  • Willingness to work 2nd shift (5 days/week, 8 hours/shift, 2:15–10:45 PM)
