What are the responsibilities and job description for the Multi‑Axis CNC Setup Machinist (Aerospace Components) position at Re:Build Manufacturing?
Step Into a Day on Our Floor
It’s 6:00 AM in Avon, Ohio—or 4:00 PM if you prefer nights. You arrive at Cutting Dynamics, part of the Re:Build Manufacturing family, and roll up to a cell with a 5‑axis mill ready for a new program. You verify tools, confirm offsets, check coolant and workholding, and bring a precision aerospace part from blueprint to reality. Later, you pivot to a horizontal machining center, run a short non‑production trial, log measurements in the routing, and collaborate with Quality to fine‑tune a feature. By shift’s end, you’ve completed your production report, deburred critical edges, and left your area clean and inspection‑ready.
About Us
Cutting Dynamics has supported aerospace and other advanced industries for 30 years. Our mission is to deliver unmatched value in high‑quality components, assemblies, and kitting for aerospace, driven by measurable objectives, leading technology, and continuous improvement.
