This is a full-time, on-site role for an Aerospace Assembly Engineer based in Pittsburgh, PA. The Aerospace Assembly Engineer will oversee component and system assemblies, ensuring manufacturing processes meet quality and performance standards. Responsibilities include designing and optimizing assembly procedures, reviewing engineering drawings, managing production timelines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The individual will also troubleshoot issues, ensure compliance with industry regulations, and contribute to continuous improvements in manufacturing efficiency.
- Strong engineering and technical skills, including an understanding of assembly processes, manufacturing systems, and quality assurance
- Experience with blueprints, technical drawings, CAD software, and related technologies
- Proficiency in analyzing designs and developing optimized assembly methods
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in aerospace or high-precision assembly manufacturing roles is a plus
