We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Metal Polisher to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for refining and finishing metal components to meet precise specifications, ensuring the highest quality standards. Your expertise in polishing techniques, mechanical knowledge, and familiarity with industrial equipment will be essential in delivering exceptional products. Duties

• Operate polishing machines, including manual hand tools, to achieve smooth, polished finishes on metal parts
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and production documents to understand required specifications and tolerances
• Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify dimensions and surface quality
• Perform quality control inspections following safety standards in production, ensuring all finished parts meet dimensional and aesthetic requirements
• Handle materials safely using appropriate materials handling techniques and tools; assist with packaging finished products for shipment
• Collaborate with fabrication teams on assembly line processes and provide support for welding or other finishing tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Proven experience working in manufacturing or factory environments with a focus on metal finishing or polishing
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings accurately
• Knowledge of safety standards in production environments and ability to follow strict safety protocols
• Ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment issues efficiently and perform basic shop math for measurements and calculations
• Excellent attention to detail with strong manual dexterity for polishing delicate components
• Warehouse experience or familiarity with materials handling and packaging processes is a plus

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
