We are seeking a motivated and skilled Construction Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be actively involved in various phases of construction projects, contributing to the creation and renovation of commercial and residential structures. Your expertise in operating tools and adhering to safety regulations will ensure the successful completion of high-quality projects.
Duties
- Assist in the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and organizing materials
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform masonry work including stucco, bricklaying, and stonework as required for various projects
- Install drywall, flooring, tiles, trim carpentry elements, and perform renovation or restoration tasks
- Follow all construction workplace safety regulations diligently to maintain a secure environment for all team members
Skills
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes for material needs and project timelines
- Skilled in carpentry disciplines including frame carpentry, metal stud framing, drywall installation, and roofing
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper technique
- Familiarity with construction safety protocols and adherence to OSHA or local safety regulations
- Experience working on diverse construction projects such as commercial buildings, renovations, restorations or new developments
- Competence in using hand tools and power tools for precise craftsmanship in masonry, flooring installation, tile laying or plastering
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
