Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled, experienced Mechanic to join our team. The qualified candidate will perform service repairs on forklifts and other related material handling items and industrial equipment. Analyze and diagnose issues and perform what repairs need to be done.

• Must have an good understanding of engines, hydraulic systems and electrical systems.
• Will be responsible for properly filling out service tickets and time cards daily and do so within the procedures that are in place.
• Able to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills
• Must have a clean driving record and valid drivers license
• Operate a service van in a safe, secure and clean manner
• Trouble shoot and diagnose
• Properly identify needed replacement parts
• ability to explain issues clearly and concisely to customers and provide valuable advice
• Repair the equipment properly & timely
• Perform planned maintenance on forklifts and related equipment
• Have good communication skills and be able to follow company guidelines and procedures
• Keep accurate repair order records and time cards
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
• Keep your van and work area clean and organized at all times
• Must provide your own tools
  
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required
• Associate degree or completion of a service technician training program is preferred
• Minimum 3-5 years experience in industrial equipment repair
• Must have your own tools
• Strong customer service and communication skills are required
• Basic computer knowledge with Microsoft office, Outlook and how to operate a tablet
